*Why can’t I just mail you my book and have you sign it?
This sounds good in theory but is unwieldy in practice. It’s better to order directly from a bookstore that works the old-fashioned way: You place the order, they phone me and have me come in and inscribe the book just the way you want it, and they mail it to you lickety-split. You’ll still have your book in a few days, and you’ll be supporting a local mom-and-pop bookstore. It’s the friendly—and the eco-friendly—way to go!

Buy online either from Spellbound Children’s Bookshop (Phone: (828) 232-2228) or Malaprop’s Bookstore (Phone: (828) 254-6734.) Use the online menus to spell out exactly how you’d like the book inscribed, or tell the booksellers by phone. Either way, they will have me sign the book before shipping it out to you. This offer is only available via these bookstores in Asheville, NC. (Note: If I’m out of town, you’ll have the option of buying a pre-signed book or waiting a few days until I get home.)
